One never knows what they'll get with the mystery flavor, dum dum. Not knowing means it's full of potential. The potential is a kind of magic. It is all flavors at once on a stick. It's the first image on this site if for no other reason than the almost obscured question marks. In reality it is a symbol of potential and the unknown. We want to begin with a sense of mystery, a tension of questions, and an expectation of something delicious hidden just behind the veil.
The main purpose of this website is the exhibition of the photographic works of J Swofford. The purpose of the photographic works of J Swofford is the exploration of the labyrinthine paths of the unconscious mind. The works reproduced on this site explore a tiny bit of the mind's potential to produce symbolic imagery. Again, the potential is a kind of magic.
All images on this site, with the exception of a few in the Maze, were shot on film and developed and printed by J Swofford. All images are available as prints and all images are protected by copyright.
